“Walking Your Talk” with Impeccable Ethics
March 17 @ 12:00 PM - 4:30 PM CST
Want to become a great leader? You can, by following some simple (not easy) steps. In summary, you become a great leader by first becoming a person that others have good reason to trust and admire – by improving your character. And second, by behaving in ways that those who know you want to emulate in order to become more like you. The essential key to this learning rests in understanding applied ethics – the primary features of which include:
Knowing how to distinguish good ethics from bad or useless ethics,
Having a good grasp of the 12 principles that guide you in making valid ethical decisions moment by moment and day by day, and
Committing yourself to the lifelong practice of behaving as ethically as you can.
This workshop will teach you the basics you need to know to become the leader want to be. As you practice step 3, suitable followers will find you – drawn inexorably to your character.
This will be a 30 minute presentation followed by a 4 hour workshop. This is the fifth class in Bob Poldosky’s 7-part course being offered during Agorapulco. The opening presentation is free and will be followed by the paid workshop ($20usd, or crypto or MXN equivalent) This class is limited to 10 people. Feel free to bring your own food and drink.
Presentations and workshops are happening every Wednesday from February 17 – March 31 at Bob’s apartment. Each class is individually priced or $75 for the full 7-week course. Students who take the full course will also receive video recordings of the classes. An online Zoom version of this course will be starting in April!
